Welcome on this Blog, providing information about the History of Life Church (Now known as Universal Life Church - ULC)!
Life Church was founded in 1959 by Rev. Kirby Hensley, and run from out his garage! He established Life Church because he was dissapointed about the "Big Dog Churches" and "So-called Religions" who -if you look at history didn't brought peace, but just the opposite; "corruption, lies, war, suppression, ... for earthly wealth, power, and own gain!
So, he was thinking about creating a church for all people; a church that would united people; regardless of race, sexe, religion, ...
In 1959 he started Life Church. In 1962 he incorporated the church as "Universal Life Church"!
And the rest is History ....
